Stephen Paul Hodges, 46, of Burbridge Road, Leavesden. On December 31, 2016, used a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in his blood exceeded the prescribed limit. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Fine, costs: £1,185.

Darren Evans, 41, of Woodland Road, Rickmansworth. On February 27, 2017, failed to provide a specimen of breath for analysis in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence. On same date, resisted a police constable in the execution of his duty; used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour. Community order made. Disqualified from driving for 40 months. Fine, costs: £210.

Nicola Katherine Sharples, 48, of The Parade, Watford. On December 7, 2016, stole items of food and drink belonging to Sainsbury’s. On October 4, 2016, stole items of meat belonging to Tesco. On October 5, 2016, attempted to steal items of food belonging to Tesco. On March 1, 2017, stole cosmetics belonging to Superdrug. Community order made. Be under curfew for two months. Costs: £170.

Monday, March 20

Aidan peter Stringer, 19, of Aldbury Close, Watford. On December 20, 2016, used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour. Fine, costs: £195.

Ralph Stuart Bland, 55, of Chilcott Road, Watford. On October 6, 2016, assaulted a person by beating. Two counts. On same date, used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour and the offence was racially aggravated. Fine, compensation, costs: £965.

Mohammed Shakil Khan, 44, of Albert Road South, Watford. On December 4, 2016, assaulted a person by beating her. On same date, stole two bottles of perfume belonging to Boots. Fine, compensation, costs: £565.

Jennifer Dale Leitch, 39, of Rockliffe Avenue, Kings Langley. On July 1, 2016, being the driver of a vehicle owing to the presence of which on a road an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another vehicle. Fine, costs: £540. Three penalty points.

Daniel James Brosnan, 20, of Gammons Lane, Watford. On March 3, 2017, had in his possession two wraps of cannabis. On same date, assaulted a person by beating him. Fine, compensation, costs: £260.

Jamie William Smallwood, 54, of Barn Lea, Rickmansworth. On February 22, 2017, destroyed a vehicle tyre. Fine, compensation, costs: £295.

Michael Terence Blake, 49, of Herne Road, Bushey. Between December 28, 2016, and December 29, 2016, displayed some writing or other visual representation which was threatening, abusive or insulting thereby causing alarm or distress and the offence was racially aggravated. Fine, costs: £525.
