Armed police arrested a man on suspicion of burglary in St Albans city centre last night.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police’s Enfield Acquisitive Taskforce pursued and stopped a car at around 7.30pm.
Police helicopters were also in attendance.
The 25-year-old man was wanted in connection with an aggravated burglary in Enfield on May 10. He was arrested and taken to a Hertfordshire police station.
No firearms were discharged and no-one was injured.
