Torrential rain looks set to hit parts of the country tomorrow as Britain’s dry spell comes to an abrupt end.
Weather forecasters suggest some areas could see 50mm of rain in just 12 hours thanks to a series of low-pressure systems coming in off the Atlantic.
Southern and eastern England are expected to experience particularly heavy downpours throughout the day, although it will still feel relatively warm with temperatures reaching the mid-20s in parts.
There are currently no weather warnings in place.
