Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a car and bike crashed in Hatfield today.
A silver Ford fiesta and bicycle collided at the junction in Woodside Lane and Westfield Road at around 10.28am this morning.
A man in his 40s from Oxfordshire, who rode the bike, was airlifted from the scene by the air ambulance and is in critical condition at the Royal London Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver, a women in her 30s from Cambridgeshire, was not injured.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police via the non-emergency number 101.
