Guide dogs and a Paralympian visited St Albans schoolchildren to help them learn about disabilities and mental health.
Pupils of How Wood Primary School learned about Makaton, autism, anxiety and dyslexia over the course of two "discovery days" at the school on Thursday and Friday.
A team from Herts Disability Sports Hub brought their paralympic "roadshow" to the school, with athletes including badminton player Gobi Ranganathan showing the children how to play "sitting" sports such as volleyball, archery and wheelchair basketball.
The pupils also met guide dogs and their owners, who both lead the Guide Dogs for the Blind branch in St Albans.
