Burglars that made off with hundreds of pounds worth of jewellery and electronics are being investigated by the police.

Thugs smashed the rear window to break into the property in Luton Road, Harpenden on Monday, May 15 between 1.30pm and 4.25pm.

The stolen goods include a Tiffany necklace, a pearl earring and necklace set, Pandora rings and earrings, a luxury watch, and other jewellery.

Police of Hertfordshire Constabulary are asking the public to be on the lookout for these distinctive items.

The Tiffany necklace had two small charms on, one blue and one silver.

The Olivia Burton watch has a black strap and rose gold face.

A Sony laptop and an iPod were also taken from the property.

St Albans Local Crime Unit PC Jody Perrin said: “Some of the items stolen are quite distinctive and I would appeal to anyone who thinks they may have come across them, or seen them advertised for sale, to please get in touch.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who has any other information about the burglary. Did you witness anyone acting suspiciously in the area between the times stated? Any information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, could greatly assist our enquiries.”
