Thousands gathered for one of the city's biggest festivals on Saturday.
The Alban Pilgrimage began with a procession through the streets, accompanied by 10-foot puppets, before walkers met at the cathedral for a special talk from Rt Revd Rachel Treweek.
A second service took place later in the week, featuring a sermon from the Very Revd Professor Martyn Percy, Dean of Oxford.
The procession sparked the beginning of a weekend of festivities which saw the town centre taken over by stall and activities including face-painting and acrobatics.
