There is traffic both ways on the M1 at junctions 9 and 10
A woman hit the central reservation in her car, causing part of the M1 to be closed.
The woman, believed to be in her 30s or 40s, drove into the central reservation between junction 9 and junction 10 but managed to escape her car.
She is being treated for minor injuries, and both East of England Ambulance and East Anglian Air Ambulance are at the scene.
Currently there is traffic both ways and two lanes are closed on the M1 northbound while all lanes are stopped southbound.
