A mother is concerned for the safety of her children after a teenager was stabbed in a busy high street.

He was taken by London Ambulance Service to a north London hospital for treatment, but his condition is not believed to be life threatening.

Muriel Dominic, of Lancaster Road, Harrow, fears her children, who are aged 15 and 18, could be at risk of becoming a victim of knife crime if they wander the streets alone around the borough.

She said: “It was a real shock to hear about this attack and it has made me feel unsafe.

“My teenage children often wander streets around Harrow but I am scared about their safety now.”
