CHILDREN ditched their cars and walked to school - with the help of a dinosaur.
Buster the Stepasaurus joined in with the 'Park & Strike' scheme at Killigrew Primary and Nursery School in St Albans.
The project sees those who live too far away from school to walk ask their parents to park further away from school, to get some exercise before morning lessons begin.
The walking champion dinosaur was out in all his glory with county Cllr Susan Featherstone and district Cllr Dave Winstone, to meet and greet parents as they arrived at school.
Killigrew School parents commented how pleasantly surprised they were at how quickly they could walk to school, and the children really enjoyed the walk with their friends.
