People of St Albans celebrated their groovy outside spaces with a swinging sixties vibe at an annual celebration.
More than 6,000 people attended the 60s and Summer of Love themed Larks in the Parks on Sunday, July 2.
This is the 15th year the event has been run by by St Albans City & District Council, the St Albans Art Team from 1Life and countless volunteers
The five parks across St Albans, London Colney, Voolney Heath, and Harpenden provided entertainment such as snail racing and donkey parades for guests while they listened to the sound of the sixties.
Cllr Annie Brewster, Sports and Culture Portfolio Holder for St Albans City & District Council, said: “Larks in the Parks has been going for 15 years and always provides families and friends with a fun day out in local parks across the District. This year the event took on a 60s theme with everyone enjoying a great variety of entertainment, activities, and music.”
