Vanda Crescent, St Albans, where the attempted robbery took place
An attempted robbery took place in St Albans and police are appealing for information.
On July 15 at around 5pm, a woman in her 40s was approached by another woman from behind, who attempted to snatch her handbag along Vanda Crescent.
The pair struggled before the second woman ran towards Alban Way, without the bag.
The attempted thief is described as black, in her mid 30s, with should length wavy hair.
Detective Constable Ayodeji Afolabi said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw this incident or who knows anything about it. The information you provide could be very useful to our investigation.”
