BushFest is a brand new family music festival hoping to rock Bushey Sports Club in Aldenham Road this weekend.

The finale of the festivities, taking place on Sunday, August 27, include a firework finale set to the music of the headline act, Mercury (a tribute to Queen).

Mercury have toured the show for 18 years. Also booked to perform are Re-Take That and Diva Mix, a group dedicated to girl band Little Mix.

There will also be Elton John performed by Paul Bacon – the official UK number one Winner of the National Tribute Awards 2017, George Michael who has been performed by Wayne Dilks for 34 years, performing those everlasting hits such as Club Tropicana, Wake me up before you go-go, I’m your man, Faith, Fast love and Outside, and finally Michael Jackson performed by Daniel Elliman.

The event includes a beer and cider festival, amusements and craft and food stalls.

Event organiser David Rees says: “We are really looking forward to putting on BushFest and were quickly inundated with applications for stalls and acts.

“We really want to showcase the crème-de-la-crème of tribute acts, which will create a fantastic local event where we can all enjoy the songs we love listening to, and hopefully sing and dance along too”

BushFest runs from 12.30pm to 9pm on Sunday, August 27 at Bushey Sports Club in Aldenham Road. Tickets are available at bushfest.co.uk
