A man was rushed to hospital this afternoon after falling from a height near the North Circular Road. 

London Ambulance Service confirmed they were called East End Road, which is next to the ring road, in Finchley, at 1.59pm.

There were long delays around the North Circular route earlier while emergency services attended the scene, but traffic has since eased. 

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson, who was not named, said: “We were called today at 1.59pm to East End Road, Finchley to reports of a person fallen from a height.

“We sent an incident response officer, an ambulance crew and London’s Air Ambulance was also dispatched to the scene.

“We treated a man at the scene and took him to hospital.”
