Both amateur and professional photographers alike can submit spectacular shots of Hertfordshire as part of a new competition.
Hertfordshire County Council has launched its #HertsInFocus photo competition, encouraging residents to send in their best snaps of the county for the chance to win some great prizes.
Residents may choose to capture shots including rural and urban Hertfordshire landscapes, park life, beautiful buildings and monuments, people in the community, and wildlife and nature.

The best pictures will be displayed online while the top four photographs, chosen by a panel of judges, will each win a luxury prize, including a spa day at Champneys Tring, a golf lesson at Chadwell Springs, or tickets to Hatfield House or Hertford Cinema.
The competition is open now and the deadline for entries is 5pm on Tuesday, October 31.
The online submission form including all terms and conditions can be found at: https://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/about-the-council/news/photo-competition-2017/photo-competition.aspx
