I do not know if Hertfordshire county councillor Giles-Medhurst actually read my letter about the high rise developments, or is trying to deliberately mislead the readers. If it is the former, let me repeat the relevant end of the sentence, “and now Sydney Road where at least five businesses are to lose their premises and possibly the staff their jobs.”
So is Cllr Giles-Medhurst prepared to guarantee that all the businesses losing their premises at Sydney Road will find affordable alternatives locally?
