On Wednesday January 3, Peace Hospice Care’s St. Albans charity shop was broken into during the night. Although takings are banked daily and not kept in our shops the thieves did damage hospice property during the break in, take float money and a money collection box – money that was so generously donated by our supporters.

Every penny really does count particularly as our NHS funding is at risk of being cut. We hope that the person who broke into our shop reads this letter and finds it in their heart to return the money stolen.
