A crash on the M1 southbound involving a smart car and a lorry led to severe delays at the junction with the M25.
The incident, which took place at around 7am on January 16, caused delays of up to 90 minutes at junction 6A.
It resulted in queues of around 12 miles, stretching back to the junction for London Luton Airport.
All emergency services attended the scene though it is not known if anyone was hurt in the crash.
Anyone who witnessed the incident should call Herts Police on 101, quoting log 83 of January 16.
