People can now complain about issues in the district while paying bills at the same time as the council has launched a new online account.

The MyStAlbans District Account allows users to pay council tax, report waste and recycling issues, apply for parking permits and access housing services.

Non-residents and carers can also sign up for updates about St Albans Council.

Cllr Alec Campbell, who is leader of the council and also responsible for Resources, said: “The MyStAlbans account is really easy to use.

“Residents can access customised information, pay bills securely and tell us about issues in one place online.”

Sign up to MyStAlbans by visiting www.stalbans.gov.uk/mystalbans and following the instructions.
