CCTV images have been released in connection with an incident where a man was attacked with a hammer in his own home.
Police are seeking four people who broke into a house in Old Watford Road in Bricket Wood on January 25 of this year.
The aggravated burglary took place between 10.30pm and 11.05pm.
The suspects searched the ground floor of the property before moving upstairs.
However, when they got upstairs they were confronted by one of the people who live in the house.
He was hit with a hammer and had his watch stolen.
DC Jody Perrin who is investigating said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the clothing worn by the suspects, particularly the masks and biker gloves.
“I would also be keen to hear from anyone who has any other information which could assist the investigation.”
