THE Mayor of St Albans has revealed which charities he plans to support this year.
Every year the new mayor picks one or more charities to support during their forthcoming mayoral year.
Mayor Bert Pawle, who was given his title on May 14, has chosen: Grove House, Keech Cottage Children's Hospice and the Ataxia-Telangiectasia Society.
He said: "The Ataxia-Telangiectasia Society, Grove House and Keech Cottage all rely heavily on donations and fund raising events to enable them to provide their valuable services."
