Leapfrog becomes a busy bee

A WELWYN Garden City nursery celebrated its re-launch with a party last week.

Leapfrog Day Nursery in Shire Park has officially become a Busy Bees Nursery complete with the famous black and yellow insect as its new logo.

It celebrated by hosting a party for all of its users, with strawberries and pimms for the adults and a bouncy castle for the children.

As part of the re-branding, the nursery received a full make over with newly painted rooms, flooring and new toys and equipment.

Nursery manager Lisa Stevens, said: “This is fantastic news for children in the Welwyn Garden City area as Busy Bees has long been associated with providing quality childcare.”

“The party gave parents the opportunity to learn about the Busy Bees philosophy and take a tour of the nursery, while the children enjoyed the various party games and activities we had planned.”

Busy Bees Group is the largest provider of childcare in the UK, with 131 nurseries caring for more than 10,000 children.

The re-brand comes after Busy Bees Group acquired Leapfrog Day Nurseries in September 2007. The staff at the nursery have remained the same.
