ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger says 16-year-old prodigy Jack Wiltshere will be guided carefully by the club.

Wenger says he does not want to place any extra pressure on the teenager but has likened him to Arsenal legend Liam Brady.

He said: "When you are a manager of a boy like that who has the talent, you are always cautious to put too much pressure on him and too high a level of expectation.

"People tell me he is a bit like Liam Brady because he has good balance and change of direction."

Wengher added that he believes Wiltshere will also adapt his game and play a more central role later in his career.

He said: "I believe later he will be a central midfielder or behind the strikers."
