St Albans law firm's optimism

A ST ALBANS law firm is defying the economic slump by appointing a new partner in commercial property, poached from a rival firm.

John Moore, has joined SA Law in London Road from Davies Arnold Cooper , where he was managing partner of the St Albans office.

SA Law's managing partner Steve Ryan said: "“We are thrilled to welcome someone of John’s experience and calibre to the firm. Expanding the commercial property team in the current climate is a bold move and demonstrates our confidence that we will continue to attract high quality work in the region and beyond.”

Mr Moore said: "I am thrilled to be joining a firm with such ambition. SA Law has gone from strength to strength since its management buyout in 2005 and has become one of the biggest players in the region. The opportunity to play a part in its future success was too good to turn down."
