THE controversial project for a cinema as part of a major city centre development, thought to be killed stone dead by massive opposition may be about to be resurrected.
Tonight a district council cabinet meeting will be discussing the 'Bricket Road Cinema Project' in a secret session from which press and public are barred.
Previous attempts in conjunction with developer Henry Davidson to build a large a large tower behind the Alban Arena to contain flats, shops, offices and a multi-screen cinema have foundered after arousing outrage from heritage campaigners.
