Toddler trapped in car

A BRAVE toddler who accidentally got locked inside his car in Harpenden this morning had to be rescued by firefighters.

A crew was called to the car park of Harpenden Bowls Club in Spenser Road at around 9.15am where a three-year-boy had managed to lock the doors of his mum's car, trapping him inside.

Firefighters were forced to break a car window to release the little lad, who did not shed one tear throughout his ordeal.

St Albans crew commander Julian Tasker, who attended the scene, said: "He was sitting looking out the window quite content."

How exactly was he brave? He didn't actually do anything and the fact he was 3 years old and sitting looking out the window means he probably wasn't fully aware what was going on.

According to Review scribblers any toddler or child featured age 19 or under is brave, tragic, heroic or a victim, or a combination of all four. Ditto anyone arrested or making a court appearance is a "youth", code for underclass criminal.
