A MOTORCYCLIST who has been critically ill in hospital for more than two weeks following a crash in St Albans has died, police have revealed.
Derek Hayward, of Harpenden, was airlifted to Addenbrookes Hospital on Tuesday, June 23 after colliding with a Nissan Qasqai in Harpenden Road.
The 38-year-old suffered life threatening injuries and has been fighting for his life since being admitted to hospital, but sadly died today.
