A DEAD body discovered on a grass verge in Brookmans Park has been formally identified as Janet Read.
The 57-year-old of Walshingham Close had been missing since Thursday, June 4and was last seen by her brother Michael Read.
Michael spoke to the Review of his devastation last week following the discovery of his younger sister's body.
Hertfordshire Constabulary has confirmed today the body is that of Janet Read. An inquest is due to be opened to determine the cause of death.
