READER Steve Williams from Bricket Wood snapped this picture of a romantic moment at the finishing gate of the Race for Life on Sunday.
He told the Review: “I was just waiting for my wife Liz to come through and I saw this guy get down on his knees - I've no idea who it was, but I was in the right place for a nice picture.”
"She said 'yes' and it was announced on the PA system. It was a really nice moment."
The Race for Life drew some 3,000 women to Verulamium Park on Sunday, running or walking five kilometres to raise sponsorship for Cancer Research UK.
