THERE will be fun for all the family when Highfield Park hosts its first-ever summer fete this weekend.
On Saturday, July 25, the Highfield Park Trust is inviting families to check out the children's fairground rides and bouncy castle, and for the daring there will be a climbing wall.
There will also be crafts and farmers' market stalls, a raffle and a chance to have a relaxing day out.
Anna Cohen, park manager, said: “We can't wait for the park to be full of local families enjoying a fun day out. We would like to thank all the local businesses which have supported the fete.”
The day will begin at 2pm in the Hill End Lane park.
