MORE than £650,000 will be spent on repairing Hertfordshire road surfaces damaged by February's exceptional snowfall, the county council has announced.
The authority has just decided how it will spend the £876,000 it has available for roads this year, pumping most into repairs but also funding a review of its ageing and worn out street lighting.
As much damage was caused to the county's roads by two weeks of the harsh in February as is normally seen normally seen in an entire year.
