CHRISTIAN ministers from as far afield as Zambia, Costa Rica and the Philippines will be uniting in worship in St Albans next Sunday.
Twenty-six Salvation Army officers, all attending an eight-week training session in London, focusing on mission and spiritual renewal, will lead a service at the The Salvation Army Church in Victoria Street at 10.30am.
After lunch, the ministers will be visiting the shrine of St Alban at the cathedral before returning for a second worship celebration at 4pm.
Lieutenant Colonel Alex Morrice, who has arranged the visit, said: “We’d like to extend a warm welcome to residents across the city and district including those who have moved here from other parts of the world so we can all enjoy worship with a truly international flavour.’
