A far right BNP candidate will go head-to-head against mainstream parties for a seat on London Colney Parish Council next week.
Danny Seabrook will battle it out against Tory candidate David Winstone, Lib Dem Vibs Nazeri and Labour candidate Maria Aguado in the polls next Thursday morning.
The candidate who polls the most votes will fill the vacancy of the North West ward of the council, held by Labour councillor Robin Copper until his death in October last year, aged 70.
All four candidates live in London Colney.
The by-election is due to be held in the village's community hall in Cotlandswick on February 11.
