LGBT survey in Hertfordshire

Hertsmere Borough Council is supporting the first survey of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Hertfordshire.

The council is one of several public service bodies to support and fund the LGBT Voice Counts Survey.

There are more than 60,000 LGBT people in Hertfordshire yet, according to research, many do not disclose their status at work, in education or when receiving NHS or other services.

It is hoped the survey will improve understanding of the needs and experiences of the LGBT community in order that services can be improved.

The survey runs until March 22 and can be downloaded from www.lgbtvoicecounts.co.uk.

For more information email survey@lgbtvoicecounts.co.uk or call 07508 418 076.

Now that's a good use of public money. Obviously a ruse to divert taxes towards minority groups.
