HARPENDEN Mayor Rosemary Farmer is holding the last fundraising event of her year in office on Saturday - a charity race night.
Tickets for the event at the Harpenden House hotel at 7.30pm will cost £20 including a buffet supper, with all proceeds to Councillor Farmer's nominated charities, Community Meeting Point and the Grove House Hospice.
Linda Haynes of Harpenden Town Council said: "This is the last event that the town Mayor is organising during her mayoral year for her nominated charities and it would be great to see a good response and raise as much as we can."
