Mugger strikes in Welwyn Garden City

A WOMAN was mugged in broad daylight in a normally quiet Welwyn Garden City residential street yesterday.
A white man with short light-coloured hair pushed his victim over from behind in Marsden Road at noon, before running off with her bag containing her purse.
Police Constable Dan Harman said: “Crimes of this nature do not occur often in Welwyn Garden City. However, this was an extremely unpleasant experience for the victim and we are keen to identify the offender as quickly as possible."
