PARENTS at a Harpenden school were treated to a cuppa this afternoon to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight.
Crabtree Infants' has been taking part in the national campaign by setting up a cafe at the school which was open yesterday afternoon.
Katherine Foster-Jenkins, a parent at the Crabtree Lane school, said: “The kids have absolutely loved it.
“It's really interesting talking to the parents who say their children now ask about drinking Fairtrade tea and coffee.
“The school's focus has remained at getting the ethos of Fairtrade across to the pupils. It is a part of the curriculum as much as it is about raising money.”
