St Albans shopping centre: "We recycle 100 per cent"

THE Maltings shopping centre in St Albans has had a vigorous crack-down on rubbish disposal and now claims it recycles 100 per cent of its waste.

Manager Phil Corrigan said: "Ensuring that we recycle as much of our waste as possible has been a conscious decision from everyone at the Maltings.  With landfills around the world reaching capacity, it is more important than ever that we help protect the environment.

“Using your own shopping bags and buying products that are recycled all help to preserve the Earth’s resources and reduce the amount of rubbish dumped in landfill sites.”
