CURIOUS internet users around the world will be able to take a virtual tour of most of the county’s streets when an extension of Google Street View is launched today.
In March last year millions of internet users were granted access to views of homes, offices, cars and pedestrians, in most of the areas in St Albans.
Although most of the Review readership area is already available to view online, many streets in remain uncovered.
Google, which has courted controversy among privacy campaigners with its Street View Project, has launched an extension to the project – granting access to most public roads in the country.
What do you think? Are you concerned about your home being visible to millions of internet users? Let us know by commenting below.
