A FORMER Park Street man who killed a salesman before scattering his body parts across two counties - including Wheathampstead - is refusing to give details of his other victims, police have confirmed.
Jigsaw murderer Stephen Marshall was jailed last month for the murder of Jeffrey Howe and during his trial admitted to dismembering four other bodies during the 1990s.
Nikki Hall at Hertfordshire Constabulary said: “Detectives from the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit have made attempts to speak with Stephen Marshall in relation to information given in court in February by his barrister about the dismemberment of bodies in the Nineties.
“At this stage Mr Marshall is not assisting police with their inquiries. Major crime officers continue their investigations in liaison with the Metropolitan Police Service.”
