DEVELOPERS spearheading controversial plans to develop a neglected city centre block have withdrawn their appeal.
Antringham Verulamium and Travelodge were ready to face a public inquiry next month after St Albans District Council refused its proposals for Hertfordshire House in Civic Close.
The Review reported this morning how a meeting had been scheduled for Thursday, March 18 where the Planning Referrals Committee were due to discuss the reasons for refusal which would be put to the Planning Inspectorate at the inquiry on April 20.
However this has been cancelled along with the inquiry.
More later.
