IMMERSE yourselves in the rich history of Welwyn Hatfield at a heritage fair being held next weekend.

On Saturday, March 20, a huge display involving local heritage groups will be showcased at the Howard Centre from 11am to 4pm.

Visitors will be able to see photos of past times, handle historic objects, talk to experts from heritage groups and get involved in preserving the local history.

Dennis Law, chairman of the Welwyn Hatfield Heritage Forum, said: “This is the very first heritage fair in the borough and the fact that we have 18 participating organisations indicates that people have a great deal of interest in the history and heritage of the place in which they live.”
