Children from Heathlands School were invited to cut the ribbon for the official opening of Tesco Express in Beech Road.

Mabel Davis, headteacher at the Healthlands Drive school, said: "We are delighted that the school has benefited from the opening of the new store and we would like to thank Tesco for the kind donation. This money will be used to to help us create e-bulletin newsletters for everyone at the school to enjoy."
Store manager Toby said: "We were delighted to be able to support Heathlands School and that pupils came to launch the new store and join in the celebrations with us."
The new store, which was opened on Friday, March 12, will be open from 6am to 11pm seven days a week.
