TWO people escaped serious injury after a crash near St Albans yesterday.
Ambulance crews were called to the B556 in Ridge to reports of a two-car crash.
It is believed one of the cars, which was travelling towards St Albans, collided with another.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “The initial 999 call we received stated that two people were possibly trapped. Thankfully on our arrival, they were both out of the vehicles.
“Following treatment and stabilisation at the roadside by paramedics, both patients were taken to Barnet General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.”
