EXCITED toddlers are enjoying a Sport Relief fund-raising event at the Busy Bees nursery in Harpenden town centre today.
The main attraction at the Leyton Road nursery is a visit from Sporticus, a character from the television show Lazy Town, but other diversions include toys, games, a bouncy castle and a cake stall.
Manager Ally Archer said: "Sports Relief is a really good charity and we hope to raise lots of money.
"We didn't know how popular it would be, but we are really pleased with the turnout, and everybody is having fun.
"This afternoon there will be a magician, and we will be walking the Sport Relief mile through Harpenden, weather permitting."
Olga Tanner, mother of four-year-old Oliver said: "He is so excited. The best bit for him was having his photo taken with Sporticus. He loves Lazy Town - Sporticus is his hero."
