FOUR people had to be rescued from a lift stuck between floors in a St Albans city centre shop this afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the White Company, a women's clothing shop in Christopher Place, at about 3.20pm.
They lowered the lift to the ground floor and opened the doors to free the group.
