A PUPIL of just seven from Garden Fields Primary School has been named as the best young writer in St Albans.
Judges decided that a story by William Bramal was the best from 300 youngsters who attend the Explore Learning writing workshops at Sainsbury's in Everard Close.
Centre manager Maxine Bell said: “We were incredibly impressed by both the quantity and quality of stories submitted. It is fantastic to see so many children enthused about writing, and there are obviously a lot of very talented young writers in St Albans.”
