Schoolchildren showcase recycled art work in Harpenden

HARPENDEN schoolchildren showcased their artistic talent at the launch of an exhibition.

The Guerrilla Galleries will be on show at Somerfield in Southdown Road throughout August.

Year two pupils from The Grove Infants School have worked with local artist Natasha Reham to create collages from recycled materials.

The works of art have already been displayed throughout July since its unveiling by Councillor Pat Kent, the deputy town mayor.

This is the first in store exhibition from Guerrilla Galleries, a project funded by St Albans district council, which aims to showcase locally produced art work to the public.
