MORE than 300 people visited the arts and crafts market held in Harpenden this weekend.
Sally Evans, who hosted the event, hailed the day as a success and said she will be returning to town in the future.
Throughout Saturday, August 7, 16 artists and craft makers set up stalls at Harpenden Methodist Church in High Street.
Sally said: “At the door we charged £1 and some of that money will be donated to Harpenden Helping Hand.
“It was a great day everybody was really enthusiastic about Harpenden and quite a lot of the stall holders said they would come back.”
