A FOURTH branch has been opened by Harpenden Building Society, which has spread its tentacles into Buckinghamshire.
The building society, which previously had branches only in its home town, Leighton Buzzard and Radlett, opened a branch in Wendover on Wednesday.
Tony Mogford, chairman of the Wendover Community Trust, said: “We are delighted to have a Harpenden Building Society branch opening in our town.
"It is the only building society present in Wendover, and will in fact be the only financial institution open weekdays from 9am to 4pm, as both of the banks are only open part time. "
